Practical Pistolcraft
Service Description
Practical Pistolcraft is designed to develop a pistol skill set that transitions between basic gun handling towards intermediate level of skill and evaluates each student in the employment of a handgun. This course will cover the topics of range etiquette, safety, marksmanship fundamentals, dry fire techniques, the draw, reloads, and clearing malfunctions. Each Student will be evaluated, assessed, and provided feedback on a series of drills that highlight each element of the class. (Accuracy, Speed, and Performance) Prior to class, the Student should possess basic knowledge for the handgun they bring to class. They should be able to load, unload, and holster. This class will prepare the student for further formal classes and expansion of their pistol skill development. This class can be shot from concealment upon request and approval of the instructor. Equipment requirements: Hat Belt Sharpie Pen/ paper (small Notebook) Rain Jacket Climate Appropriate Clothing OWB / IWB/ AIWB KYDEX HOLSTER (NO SERPA/ VERSACARRY) Holster must be able to securely attach to the belt PISTOL (9MM OR .38 CAL OR ABOVE) 2 MAG POUCHES 4 MAGAZINES / SPEED LOADERS EYE PROTECTION EAR PROTECTION 550 RDS (NO HANDLOADS) Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) Pistol Maintenance Kit with lubricant Small Cooler WATER LUNCH
